Project objectives

This project aims to protect Kenya’s largest single elephant population by maintaining core anti-poaching activities that were impacted by the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic. By deploying aerial and ground team patrols both inside and outside the Tsavo Conservation Area’s protected areas, the project hopes to increase protection as well as safeguard additional biodiversity in the regions.
