Project objectives

This project aims to increase population numbers of the Kordofan giraffe and other mammals in the Benoue National Park by increasing the patrol frequency. It also seeks to generate baselines to determine the abundance and distribution of target species, which informs the park’s management plan and improves the conservation strategy.

This project is implemented by Bristol, Clifton and West of England Zoological Society Ltd.
