Project objectives

This project seeks to work with government authorities and relevant stakeholders in the Cerrado of Mato Grosso do Sul to identify and define key areas for Giant Armadillo conservation. The project will also promote habitat conservation measures in order to increase the connectivity of fragmented habitats, ultimately ensuring long-term population viability for this threatened species.

This project is implemented by Wild Animal Conservation Institute (ICAS).
