Project objectives

• Prevent the local extinction of Indri, Diademed Sifaka and Black and White Rufed Lemur;
• Work with teachers, children and youth to promote lemurs as a form of Malagasy cultural heritage;
• Improve the livelihoods of local communities through participatory monitoring and income generation activities;
• Strengthen the capacities of Malagasy scientists to study lemurs.
